When visiting any Aldeia Serrana it is mandatory to stop to taste the local gastronomy.
Miranda do Corvo is one of the villages whose tradition and consequent specialty is the Chanfana, which accompanies it with baked potatoes and vegetables.
You should also try the Loin with Chestnut or Wild Boar or you can also go for the traditional Portuguese cooked.
To accompany the meal at the table you can not miss the corn bread and a good red wine (if you are not driving).
For dessert we have the curd with jam of Pumpkin, the traditional sweet rice or a beautiful egg pudding with honey and chestnut.
You should not miss Orange and honey cake as well!
